Wildlife Photography in Maine
The river valley at Hewes Brook Lodge, which runs from Fish Lake to Portage Lake, offers and abundance of old skidder roads and cut over areas. This diversity of cover coupled with new growth trees is a great habitat for rabbits, woodcock, partridge and coyote. Our facility is located in a very secluded area and is perfect for catching pictures of all things wild and in there natural habitat.
You can do river floats with kayak and canoe's in which you can catch photo's of Deer, Bear, Moose, Fox, Bobcat, Fisher, Beaver, Pine Martin, Eagles, Blue Heron, and other natural wilderness wildlife.
